This opportunity is for a Per Diem Registered Nurse providing school nursing services within a K-12 setting in Minneapolis, MN. The role is strictly on-call, offering flexibility for nurses who want to support students across a range of ages when needed throughout the school year.

Schedule: Per diem, Monday through Friday with no guaranteed hours; work is based on availability and call-outs

End Date: June 5, 2026

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and health assessments to students ages 3 to 22 within the school setting
• Respond to student health needs on an as-needed, on-call basis, filling in for scheduled vacations or last-minute absences
• Administer medications, manage health emergencies, and maintain accurate health records in compliance with school policies
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student health and well-being
• Support individualized health plans and emergency protocols to ensure student safety throughout the school day
  
  

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly to varied student needs and age groups
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential
• Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and following state and federal health guidelines
